Room 6 Newsletter Term 1 Week 10
Swimming
The school
pool is now closed for the summer. There will be no more swimming this term.
Swimming lessons at Lloyd Elsmore pools will start on Monday May 9 (the second
week of Term 2). There will be more information on this soon.
Wheels Day
While the
Seniors are at camp, the Juniors and middle School will have a wheels day. This
is planned for Tuesday April 12, after lunch (the last week of the term). More
information to come.
BYOD (bring your own device)
We plan to
start allowing the children to bring their own devices to school, for those who
wish to take up this option. This will start at the beginning of Term 2. A
letter will come home on Monday, which everyone has to sign as it
relates to digital citizenship when using any devices. A second letter will
come home the following week. This also needs to be signed and returned to
school before the children can bring and use their own devices.
Trip &
Activity Fee
On Thursday
May 5 (the first week back after the holidays) the Middle School are going
on a trip to the Botanic Gardens. We will need parent helpers. A notice will
come home next week. At least $30 of the activity fee needs to be paid by
Tuesday May 3.
